All of my shells are hand-picked by me (or my husband) while we’re out beachcombing, and only completely empty shells are collected. Even though they were empty when picked up, the shells have been thoroughly soaked and cleaned before being treated with a clear coat of resin to enhance and protect the natural colours.

These Ramshorn shells were found on a beach in Mangawhai in July 2022, and would make a wonderful gift for someone who has a love for the beach or the sea. Take a piece of Magical Mangawhai with you wherever you go.

Description

All of my shells are hand-picked by me (or my husband) while we’re out beachcombing, and only completely empty shells are collected. Even though they were empty when picked up, the shells have been thoroughly soaked and cleaned before being treated with a clear coat of varnish to enhance and protect the natural colours.

All holes have been carefully hand-drilled, and the earrings assembled with love.

The colour, pattern and edge on each of the earrings may differ slightly, due to natural variations in the shell, but they are a matching pair (they were still attached to each other when found) and are very similar in shape, colour and size, as seen in the photos.
