Despite the large sign outside saying 'by appointm Despite the large sign outside saying 'by appointment only', a link to my website and a convenient QR code to scan, I still have people arriving without appointments. Somehow, I'm expected to magically clear an hour and a half and do their nails on demand. I don't do walk-ins - no appointment, no service - this is the way I choose to run my business. If you arrive without an appointment, you'll be asked to book an appointment, and will be turned away. I schedule the rest of my life and other work around my client appointments, so it's not fair to expect me to suddenly drop everything because you've chosen not to book, or happen to show up while I'm having lunch or grabbing a quick cup of coffee between appointments.
