I'm often asked what nail shape is most popular. I

I'm often asked what nail shape is most popular.
In my salon it seems to be Squoval (a mix between square and oval - not as sharp as square and not as round as oval). I also have a few clients who favour Oval.

The shapes on the top row can be done on natural nails, with almond being the weakest shape out of the five.

The shapes on the second row can only be done on enhancements or extensions. Natural nails are not strong enough to hold these shapes on their own - the sharp points weaken the side walls, making natural nails prone to breakage.
