Most of my clients know that my husband, Gary, is a volunteer firefighter at the Mangawhai Volunteer Fire Brigade. He'll be taking part in the 2025 Firefighter Sky Tower Stair Challenge in May next year, and is busy raising funds for Leukaemia & Blood Cancer NZ. "Why I'm taking up the challenge ... 1,103 steps, 51 floors, 25kg of kit, all for Kiwis living with blood cancer.

I'm racing up the Sky Tower in full firefighting kit to raise vital funds and awareness for Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand (LBC). Every day 8 children and adults in New Zealand are diagnosed with a blood cancer like leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. LBC is the national charity dedicated to supporting patients and their families, this support can last months or even years.

LBC receives very little government funding, so please donate and help me support this great cause. It’s simple, fast and totally secure and LBC will email you a tax-deductible receipt.
