Skinfood Light Moisturiser was included in the “Skinfoodie Essentials” set that I bought online from Skinfood. It contained their Cleans All, Mud Masque, Light Moisturiser, and a Mud & Honey Body Bar. I already had a tube of Skinfood’s SPF15 Moisturiser open, and I was wondering what the difference would be between the two, other than the lack of sunscreen in this one.
It comes packaged in the same 100ml white plastic squeeze tube with a flip top lid and recyclable cardboard box as the SPF15 Moisturiser. The white moisturising lotion is a New Zealand made, natural-based, paraben free moisturiser that is rich in peach oil, manuka honey, avocado, elderberry and marshmallow extracts, and Sweet Orange Oil which give it a delightfully light orange scent.
Skinfood Light Moisturiser is ideal for oilier skin types because of its light texture and easy absorption. Its non-oily, it doesn’t clog or agitate pores, and it helps to repair and restore collagen and elastin. I found that it’s the perfect night cream for me, as I prefer to use Skinfood SPF15 moisturiser during the day. This lightweight lotion is absorbed quickly, there is no greasy residue to rub off on my pillowcase, and yet it’s moisturising enough to thoroughly hydrate my skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth. The wonderful peachy-orange scent is very pleasant, and it’s become one my favourite moisturisers to use as a night cream.
If you’d like to try and of these products, the Skinfood range is available online or from supermarkets.
