A full sized 100ml tube of Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser was the Day 18 gift in the 2019 Beautiful Surprises Advent Calendar.
Glow Lab’s Facial Moisturiser is packaged in a cream coloured soft plastic squeeze tube, with a black flip top lid. The moisturiser contains “scientifically blended botanicals to quench the skin, providing long-lasting hydration and protection for all skin types.” It’s dermatologically tested, rich in antioxidants, Vitamin E enriched and pH balanced.
The first thing I noticed about this moisturiser is that is doesn’t contain an SPF. Its no big deal, but I do like my moisturizers to contain some SPF protection. The next thing was that the consistency was somewhere between a cream and a lotion, and I thought to myself, “Oh, here we go, another average moisturiser.” But boy, was I wrong!
After using this product for a week, I still had mixed feelings about it. Then we went into Covid-19 lockdown, and I ran out of night cream. I began using this cream as a day cream and night cream, and instantly saw a boost in my skin’s hydration. Even though I have naturally oily skin, I’ve always battled with dehyrated skin. Yes, that’s a thing, oily skin can be dehydrated, too.
Being in lockdown meant that I had to close my business, so I wasn’t seeing clients on a daily basis. This meant that I went make-up free every day, and I really started to notice the difference that this moisturiser was making to my skin. We’d been in lockdown for four weeks when I finished the tube of Glow Lab Moisturiser, and my skin has never looked this good. It’s radiant, hydrated and glowing, with not a single blemish. I’m really impressed. Containing a powerful blend of macadamia, rosehip seed oil and shea butter, this moisturiser definitely does live up to the promises of soothing, protecting and providing long-lasting hydration.
An added tip from Glow Lab that was printed on the tube: For extra hydration, apply over Glow Lab Facial Serum.
